300tdi - 55MPH vibrations

Hi guys,

Getting a vibration throughout the disco as soon as i hit 55MPH.

I have already replaced the following in the past 2 weeks to try and solve the problem....

Wheel bearings all round
All UJ's rebuilt
Replaced rubber donut

Still happening.

Where would you guys be looking next?

I was thinking track rod ends aswell, they looks in ok condition but they aint that expensive. I will get em changed and see how it goes.

What bushes are you refering too?

Drop link ends cheap enough to do will def need tracking done after
make sure the clamps are tight on them too some idiot had tried adjusting mine with a hacksaw??? fitted new ones.

As for which bushes any that may have play in lol
was looking at a polybush kit for mine as had some vibrations myself.

Mine was down to tyres or balancing or steering damper can't narrow it down anymore cos they were all done in the same morning but vibration is gone now.

Take her to a good Tyre place and get the wheels ballanced also check the tread foe any flat spots if still happening track rod ends is the vibration worse under braking? if so make sure the discs arent warped and that the caliper bolts are tight.

Balancing vibration generally starts at 55 ish and settles at 75-80
