300tdi 1995 light conversion

i am intereste din changing the lights to the newer shape light has anyone done it and what modifications need to take place?

this is the car now

and this is the lights the mrs wants on it is this possible?

any suggestions or diagrams wud be much appreciated

i thought about it then found out how much the headlights was. i,ve seen it dun and they look well smart,it involves a fair bit of cuttin and messin.if ya google it there is a thread which tells ya how to go about it,if you wanna fit the earlier lights its a damnsight easier cus they are the same as a 300tdi just painted black round the edges i think

Looks like the wings are different so is the trim below the lights so they'd need changing too. = more money plus the lamps plus the wiring.

Are the swage lines between the Disco 1 and 2 the same? If not the wings wont interchange without the lines being out where the front door and wing meet.

f they're not interchangeable you could modify the 300 ones but that would need body shop skills and tools, plus paint work.

think ill just stick to the newer shape lights with black round the edges

Dont let me put you off I dont know for sure and as they say : anything's possible only limit is the depth of the pocket.
