300 tdi with cracked head

hi every one im new member with problem, took head off thinking the gasket had gone and i was right between No2 and No3, the thing is there are cracks were the glow plugs go in to the conbustion chamber, now does this mean a new head or can it be machined flat and reused, thanks for your help Eddie

Hi, I'd take it to a specialist and have it pressure tested, they'd also be able to tell you if it could be skimmed...good luck

ive seen it before where these cracks did not matter. im not saying this will not matter in your situation so i would take it to a specialist and get their opinion to be sure!
