300 tdi starting problem

Got another 300 tdi disco but she has a starting problem. runs perfect once going but does not like starting?
It sounds like she bleeds her self every time she starts. but not 100%. any one got any ideas

had the same problem we had to change the fuel lines from tank to pump

I would check the fuel filter first, if the o ring in the center is poor seal it leaks back and needs to self bleed every time. filters are cheap so change it first. If fuel lines it should start then die because filter would be full, run dry because lines empty and die.

Is it just when cold or starting all the time's a problem?

Does the 300 have a cold-start mechanism that resets if the throttle is touched before it fires?
