300 tdi rear step - help!!!

Hello everyone - hope you can help - I have a new rear-step for a Disco I - can't for the lift of me work out where it goes - ok I know roughly where it should be but it doesn't seem to fit! Does anyone have a diagram or picture of where this should be mounte??

Any help gratefully recived

Thankis for the pictur e- not the same as the step I have but Penny has dropped!Bracket in the place it should be won't fit because it fouls on the bar attached to the tow bar! Tow bar is standard fit - what where they thinking making a step that won't fit a standard Disco..

I have a disco that has never seen a tow bar so not all standard

Thats a good point and explains all - my mistake - thought all Discos had tow bars - still I reckon a sizeable majority must have so still think it's a bit daft to design one that doesn't fit if you do have one....

... and go easy on us novices.. we gotta learn somewhere

Yes not all Disco's had a tow bar fitted as standard as Bobbler said, but you've basically got the hydraulic step or the tow bar rigged step as an option for the Disco ... any pics of yours?

If you have a towbar then just get one that fits behind the towball.
