300 TDI Oil smoke?

Hi all,

I've picked up a 1996 300tdi 90 pickup today. Its only done 100k and had a new chassis 7 year ago so thought it was a decent but for 2k. Anyway it's been sitting for 4 years since the mot ran out and fires up fine but I get what I believe to be oil smoke when I receive it up after taking it off the trailer. It could be unburned diesel though. It seems to run smooth and has loads of power. Therea no pressure out the oil cap or blow by.
The oil was on low but it's been sitting leaking for years I guess?

What could bw the issue? Could it just need re-commisoning?

Will need a service and clean out intercooler pipes, but need to know whether it is oil smoke or diesel. Oil is more blue where diesel is more grey and acrid

To be honest I'm really not certain but I'm going for blue oil smoke..
