Disco 1 300 TDI Manifold Gasket

Hi Guys, I think the manifold gasket is leaking on my 300TDI, I have the new gasket, but need some advice on which way round the gasket goes. Which side goes on the engine block? Many Thanks

In case answer was a bit vague The face on the top photo goes to head. Bottom photo is what you should see when it is fitted but other way up.

Check the exhaust manifold, I changed two gasket's on mine before I found that the face of the center ports on the manifold was rusting and not flat.
A quick going over with the sander and it's been fine since.

Thanks for your advice guys. I've just finished the job, turns out the garage that did the head gasket had put the manifold gasket on back to front. Some of the stud bolts were finger tight, all back together now, I can hear and feel the turbo working now!
