300 tdi in a series 3 lightweight ,series temp gauge goes into red pretty quick with disco sender so fitted a series sender bearmach br2117 (560794)
Still goes into red quickly ,i have a 300tdi defender gauge and using both the disco and series sender it goes into the red even quicker !
I trust the engine as it never got hot when in the disco ,it has a new rad and coolant is bled the right way being parked nose uphill and water comes from both plugs in the thermo housing and the rad ,heater gets hot ,top and bottom hose gets hot and coolant can be seen flowing in the expansion bottle when reved
Im aware the 300 defender has a different sender but thought the disco sender would only put the fender gauge near the red not past it
Is this the case and what part number is the 300 defender temp sender ?
