300 Series Increased Power / Fueling

Can anyone advise on increasing the fueling on a Bosch Rtary pump fitted to a 300series. I've been told if I turn the fueling adjustment screw on the pump 1/4 turn clockwise this will increase the power ????!!!

Not sure if this will help but I was told not to adjust the fueling unless I fitted an uprated inter-cooler, I have fitted an uprated inter-cooler and the fueling has been adjusted and yes you do get an improvement in power after doing this, I am not sure on the facts but I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

I have a 94 tdi 300 and have tweaked the pump and binned the cat, it has made a great difference. Good power to be had from 1000 rpm and a very relxed drive the rest of the time ( 4th gear with no labouring) I still have not done the intercooler as I have aircon. Tweak your pump and smile!

I have Air Con also you can get an uprated cooler that is the same size as the standard one.
