Hi everyone, ok not sure I am using this correctly yet.
I have a 1998 defender 300 series, great Landy runs like a dream.
Problem is periodically it will not start, once every 3 to 4 weeks.
I am thinking its something to do with the spider and just immobilizing itself.
However it will all ways start if i jump it from another car or push it and jump it (need a hill)
Any body have any ideas?

If it's immobilised then you won't start it at all as immobiliser is on the fuel pump ;)

Intermittent problems are a nuisance as they are always hard to trace when you have the time and always occur when you are late or in a hurry lol

Welcome to the mad house.

You needs to slope off down the main menu to the 90/110/130 & Defender forum for all your technical queries.

We are just the welcoming committee :)

Thanks for the pointer I have posted in the Defender Forum now.
My thought exactly, If it's immobilized then you should not be able to jump start it.
