3 door roof bars

Hi all,
anyone able to tell me where i can buy the plastic blanking plate/trim for a FL 1.8 3 door softback.
It has roof bars fitted, and I am going to remove them for the summer.
Obviously there are gaps where they bolt to the roof, and i need to get hold of the blanking trims.
Tried ebay, no luck.

Out of interest, what's the point of these? Are they just cosmetic?
