For sale 3 door Land rover Discovery 1. Located Flookburgh, Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria.
MOT runs out next month. Developed a noise, appears to be coming from the rear diff. Sills need attention. Play on steering (box?). Back door catches on the diamond plate. Back door sill is rotten. Unfortunately can't do the work needed for MOT due to chest injury.
Engine starts first time and pulls like a train. I've replaced the bearings on the front prop shaft and also the rear brake pads.
Usual Discovery problems, headlining, sunroofs sealed shut. Tatty interior. Used for horse food, including hay. Make a good off road project. Previous owner fitted a terrafirma kit to raise the suspension by 2(or 3) inches and also cut back the wheel arches for bigger wheels. Rear WiFi reverse camera fitted (view on a smart phone or tablet). 4 good tyres, plus 2 other wheels available (need attention). Roof rack, lights and tow ball not included (available at cost). Wheel arch extensions and heavy duty bolt on sills available separately. Off road wheels and tyres also available separately.
I though you may be able to hear the diff noise on the video, but all you can hear is a fuel filter in the glove box. Should be safe to drive a short distance, but probably best to transport.
£800. May PX for an un-modified one with long MOT (looking for a V8 with LPG).
