3.9 rebuild - oval cylinders

Hello, I just found this forum, I've been posting over here about my problems...

Anyway, I have a 3.9 V8 1995 discovery. I bought it with a bad engine I was going to rebuild and have come across a problem.

Follow the thread above and post here if you don't mind. I'd like to move it over to a UK board since it's a UK car and I'm a UK person just happen to be living in the US.

Any suggestions as to my best course of action?
