Can’t make up my mind now whether to go for the 3.0 ltr or the 3.6 ltr. One has a crap box, the other eats its own engine for breakfast. But I’ve been bitten by the bug now… :(
Neither.

Go for the 2006+ 4.4 N/A V8 or 4.2 supercharged.

Or if you have your heart set on a dizzle go for the 4.4 TDV8..

Or rewind a few years and get a P38.

Whilst a good suggestion, it all depends on , does the OP like all Range Rovers, or does a particular style make their heart beat.
I was never drawn by Range Rover until I saw the L322. Then I just had to have one. I even went so far as to trade my V8 for diesel
I now know the P38 to have a reputation for being less demanding, but I still love the L322. Even the L405, which did turn my head, for 30 seconds, can't compete with my love of the L322.
It'll be fun to see which one ( or two or three) he ends up with :D

Seems I'm the opposite I've had all 3 RR in total a 91" Manual V8 classic my 2001 P38 and a 2002 L322 4.4..

I rate the Classic and P38 as my personal favourites, the l322 I owned was far too chelsea tractor for my taste, however it was a nice motor to drive..

It's all very personal. Which is why it will be fun to see which he ends with :)
