Had done cylinder head gaskets c ouple months ago. Still a misfire so irontited and cured misfire.
Now overheating again with gases in the coolant. I purchased one of those kits off feebay for hydrocarbons in the coolant which turned yellow.
I took the plunge and stripped it down again. Some of the head bolts were not tight and one at the rear drivers side was loose. Taking the heads off I was not surprised to find the waterway in the drivers head at the rear was going into cylinder 8 , so thats where the pressurising was coming from. sent the heads off for a skim this time.
Checking the bores I found the crack in the liner on cylinder 3.
The overheating element has been atributed to the no existing seal at the rear of the drivers side head, and the misfire was cured with the irontite , so I'm ging to take the plung and put it all back together again. The new rad also bentr under the constaqnt over heating pressurising. Took it back and are pressing all back together like new for me. Nice guys at Kemston rads in Bedford.
Tried to upload photo but its noty having it
Only took 8 hours to strip it down. Bit better than 32 the first time
