I have a 1966 station wagon that I bought a year ago, it came with 2 new 2nd row doors. The doors were bought by previous owner about 8 years ago but never fitted as the landy was parked up and gradually overgrown. I am nearing finishing a complete rebuild on new chassis but the new doors nowhere near fit. front doors fit nice but the rear doors are about 1/2 inch to small at the top and a1/4 at the bottom. also stick out to far on the swage line. I cut the frame on the swage line and forced the top out by about 1 inch then welded the frame again it now fits better in the middle but still too small. The doors were from paddocks. I know I have to buy two more doors but were these from a bad batch and stock OK now or has anyone had this problem lately. The rest of the body fits great. If this was a runaround landy I would live with this, but this one was 1 of only 5 converted as an ambulance control unit for London ambulance service and only 2 survive so I want this to look right. Where do I get replacements from ?
