I've done a search but couldn't find an answer so hope you can help.

Birthday coming up and SWMBO has decided to buy me a Radio/CD and 4 speakers to replace the Radio cassette player and 2 speakers I have in my 100 TD5 SW. (she didn't get the hint about Diff guards/Bow shackles/Tow strap:(). But mustn't complain as he doesn't restrict my spending otherwise.

Any way, has anyone any good advice as to where I could fix the second pair of speakers? Presumably LR fitted them in later XS models, although I haven't seen one to find out for definite. I'd rather not stick them in a pod where they can get knocked off by someone's careless head,so flush fitting is preferred.

Would trying to fit them into the rear doors be a good idea, if there's space? Alternatively, I could try the back door, but two 4" speakers in the back door card will look a bit naff.

Somebody must have done this before, successfully? Any suggestions?
