2nd gear

Hi guys

I've just done a service ready for the winter and i seem to have developed a problem with 2nd gear?
It's now really difficult to find 2nd gear, especially when car is cold, the more you drive it the better it gets?
I changed the gearbox oil on the service and wondered if id put the wrong oil in? I put carplan hypoid semi synthetic 75w in, that's what europart website recommended?

Any advice?

put in dexron atf 2 or 3 or mtf94 otherwise you will bugger baulk rings ,2nd is usually the first to show as its baulk ring has hardest job

Doh!!!

Put the wrong oil in the gear box, schoolboy error!!
Been out and bought some dexron 3 and will empty and refill tommorow!!
