I appreciate the sentiments but I have to admit I had a wry smile at the timing of this post... As you know most of the folk on here are UK based, and you posted a cheery message for 2021 getting off to a good start, on the very day the UK goes into another lockdown

And I would hazard a guess he has never spent a winter in Peterhead either!

Been on a hard lock-down from the 28th of Dec down here in South Africa. But what can you do but hope.

We went into what was essentially "almost lockdown" on the 26th, scheduled to end in a couple of weeks, but today we went into full lockdown, which was a bit of a kick in the crotch, but yeah, hopefully later on this year once the vaccines are rolled out lockdown will become a distant memory.

Two of my best friends are South African, both from Durban, but both have lived in the UK for decades.

Well, I have a couple of Brits colleagues myself. Sports loving, alcohol guzzling overall fun guys.
