200tdi van THREAD size..

Im wanting to make a 200tdi 2nd alt bracket for my disco engine...

Tonight i fetched my old 19j engine before i scrap it and i pulled the power steering pulley off it (i think)

Was wondering if i got the correct size bolt that is the same thread size as the viscus fan size to bolt onto where the fan would be held on, this would hold the pulley on...

anyways


picture gives a rough idea, you'll have to excuse my photo, was dark, heads off to do HG and bulkheads mostly stripped to swap lol..

Although if your engine has come from a disco it seems cheaper than if it's a defender one???

Recently sold one of them on ebay, nice bits of kit, simple yet clever.

I'm gonna make something a little shabby that still does the same. I'll weld a pulley to my water pump pulley and run a small belt from that.. I hope. I was going to hold the second pulley on with a bolt on the fan thread..
