200tdi turbo lag

My 200tdi seems to have aquired alot of tubo lag or something. Basically i have to rev the nuts off it when off roading to get it to pull up slopes. If i'm pootling up a slope and need a little more grunt i'll have to slip the clutch to get more momentum. Someone mentioned something about the fuel pump? Any sudgestions?

try using low range and 2nd gear you wont have to slip your clutch then,i would guess its just poor gear selection..does it do it onroad?

no mate its not. even does it in first. Definately turbo trouble

Have you changed your air filter lately???...or any of the filters? There might be a blockage somewhere! Can you hear the turbo wheezing when you put your foot down?
