Ive lifted the engine and moved it back thru baulkhead 6 inches.its lifted 4 inches.
this gives me sump clearance tastic on just a 2"lift.
it also has enabled me to move back the radiator to make room for intercooler oil rad and also because the rad is behind the crossmember i will be able to get a winch in behind the grill and run it hyrdrauliclly off the aircon pump....
Big plan is to make it look standard outside bar big tyres.

sounds like a plan but aint you gonna get cooling issues with the rad sittin lower than the enjun?

I have considered this.In allowance for this the water radiaotr im useing has 3 times the volume of the original 200tdi rad and the oil rad is twice the size.If this does not work im going to try thermostatic fan.sounds like a plan

that is not a problem ere.we saw frost last year for the first time in ten or so.
Besides a cold doisel injin is a fast one

My ministry man laughed his arse off when he see id brought a rusty K reg disco, he wasnt laughing after he said if ya gets that through il buy ye a drink! Through it went, should have seen the look on his face
