200tdi tappets

Hey peeps quick question i understand that the tappets on a 200tdi are old skool push rods and rockers, If so do they need adjusting and if so when and what to cheers peeps

i presumed you would know what the number nine method was and 8 thou is clearance as mesaured with feeler guage
