200tdi rebuild

ive just finished strippin down my old 200tdi engine wich im plannin to get rebored and rebuild..... whilst doin this ive found loads of sludgey oil stuff in the basket by the the oil pump and no3 bore was considerably more worn than the others.... so im suspecting there may be a blockage in the oil ways some where..... anyone know a good way to check this and to clean them out...... disco 200tdi and it is completely stripped down to component form

If you have stripped it down to a bare block then your best bet is to find an engine reconditioning place local and get them to hot chemical dip it, can't see it costing too much and is going to guarantee all the oil ways etc are clear
