200Tdi rebore costs ?

Having had the lid off the 200TDi we recovered from the Disco, it has
some moderate grooving in cylinder 2 and 3 - probably broken rings.

Any rough ideas on rebore prices ? I assume it'll need new pistons, but
will they rebore only two pots or do you have to do them all ?

I have just rebuilt my 300Tdi with resleeved block and new pistons and most
other things.

Cost: R26 770.00 incl labour but this is in South Africa.
I think the ZAR:UKP is about 11:1 at the mo.

60 quid for a rebore, 25 quid for a head skim, 75 quid for a crankshaft
regrind

250 quid EACH for "genuine landrover pistons" or 48 quid....

Has anyone any accurate weights for the 200Tdi engine ? Its not in the
Haynes manual !

around 350 kilos for a 200Tdi complete engine and radiator assembly mounted
on a pallete

Thanks for that Pantelis, I don't need to worry about the rad, it won't
be on the stand during the rebuild.
