I have just fitted my 90 with a disco 200tdi engine started it up and it revs its self and settles to tick over and cuts out and no throttle response anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

How long have you left it running for?
Did you replace all the fuel lines or bodge bits together?

Injection pumps tend to work or not.

Sounds more like fuel starvation. Try re bleeding the fuel system for a start. A length of clear fuel pipe will show you if you have any air bubbles coming in from a leak

Does sound like starvation to me as well. Is the Lift pump ok? And is the cut off solenoid getting a constant feed?

Thanks for the help :). has anyone got a diagram of the fuel lines? Could somthing be stuck inside the injection pump? I can turn it off by the key before it cuts out.

If it works on the key the stop solenoid is probably okay.
200tdi is a self bleeder, but like any diesel crap fuel lines will cause all sorts of aggro.
The fuel system is pretty simple, tank to lift pump to fuel filter to inj pump.
One of the two banjos on the inj pump has a non return valve inside it I think its the one nearest the timing chest.

Yes it should do but if its constantly pulling in air it will cause all sorts of issues.
Safest bet is to replace the pipe to the lift pump, I did exactly this on both my 200 and have never had a fuel issue of any sort in 5 years
If you use rubber pipe it will fail sooner or later the nylon pipe which is fitted oe is the way to go its the same as truck air brake pipe

The two banjo bolts on the injection pump are different for the feed and return pipes, make sure you have them the right way around. One has a big hole (feed) and one a small hole, but both are the same thread and so can be mixed up.

The fuel intake goes to the front of the injection pump and return to the back?

Yes the feed is the one just forward of the throttle lever. The return pipe attaches below the rear of the boost compensator diaphragm housing, it's underneath the pipe from the turbo and should have two pipes on it, one from the injector leak-off lines and then another going back to the tank.
