evening all just got my new series 3 chassis from richards and am now deciding to fit a 200tdi with turbo and i was just wondering if its possible to fit with out cutting the battery tray and its galvanised and im rather reluctant to ! i have tried to find the answer else where but i wondered if anyone here has got away with it or knows in it can be done ! thanks !:confused:

I didn't manage it, and looking at it now installed i can't see the battery tray surviving. Sorry!

I have seen pic of 200 fitted with battery on a taller tray.
But as Bump says i had to cut the rear inside 1/4 of my tray and one leg of to get the 200 to fit, wouldnt take much effort to bolt on the leg and then fit the battery
