Just spotted a disco 200 on eBay, Suffolk iirc.
Seller said engine was reet but car was ****ed, consider it engine with car attached FOC. Car looked reasonable to me as it happens...

Hi, I got a good 200tdi three door disco. G reg. Complete for 1000. Gets you a disk brake rear axle too?. Or engine complete with rad and intercooler 450? Near wantage Oxfordshire, approx 1 hour from bristol. Come and test it?. Dave

kinda what i was thinkin' for a complete one but i've seen the engines going for this kind of money, but then i only gave £450 for my k plate donor complete.

shame to break it really as the welding had been done but my 90 needed the engine. it's a shame you're so far away beardy as there's a bloke in wolves breaking a couple of 200 disco's in the wanted section.

I only gave 750 for my R reg 300tdi with a couple of months MOT Ok it needed a lot of welding to both sills and the rear body crossmember.
Gave £350 for the previous disco I had, L reg 200tdi with a blown head gasket & no rot.
Paid £250 for a complete scrapper of a disco that was completely rotten but had good engine & boxes. Engine went in Lreg one above and the transfer box went in the 300tdi. When it went on the way back from Mintys after Xmas. Still got gearbox. Robin flogged the chassis & Axles. to IanNOtts.

not really ,i did a huge amount of rushed welding in a few days before my brother got posted away trying to get it motable to drive it to mine then do it properly at my end but have decided to hybrid it and fit a defender body so not worth fixing up.
