200Tdi engine that was fitted to my project 110.
Condition is smokey!!. I have run this engine since October 2012 and it had a few issues.
1. Timing belt pulley and fan belt pulley worn but now replaced with new items. Timing belt also changed at the same time.
2. Outer woodruff key was knackered causing slight damage to the crank, new key fitted with liquid metal repair ro the crank.
With 1 + 2 now sorted the engine ran a lot better but still white smoked on start up. Has a missfire until warm.
Once warmed up I still managed to do the weekly commute 100 miles down the motorway.
There was some blue smoke on over run (coming down Birdlip bypass)
I was still using this in the snow after xmas but with having a known good 300tdi on the drive plus the clutch slave cylinder failed I have now fitted the other engine.
FIP has not been molested and the turbo boosted ok.
The oil cooler union above the filter has been removed and swapped over to the new engine as it had a duff thread.
Both engine mounts have been stolen for the 300tdi as well.
This would be best used for a rebuild or just canabilise the good bits and then scrap it.
Looking for £100 or would be willing to break it for bits.
