As i blew my 19J up last week i am fitting a 200TDi, Most of it seems fairly straight forward but i have 2 issues -

PAS - The Disco engine did not come with a PAS Pump or pipes. Is there anyway to use my PAS Pump from th 19J?

Rad/Intercooler - I have both of these from the disco, however there is no frame. Can i use the frame from the 19J or do i need to source a disco frame and chop the mounts?

(Also, why do people get Oil cooler lines extended? The Unions unscrew from the 19J, straight onto the oil filter and rad from the disco...)
 
Well... :D It has been leaking oil since i fitted it and blowing abit (Alright...Quite abit) of oil from the rocker.

Went up to screwfix the other day and when i came out, there was a fooking huge puddle of oil underneath it. Topped it up enough to get me home, left a bucket under it over night and found about 2.5ltrs in the morning!

Rear crankseal has gone (Which is odd as i fitted a new one when i fitted the engine), think it was because of the high crankcase compression. Engine bay is coated in oil, and it is throwing out abit of blue smoke. :rolleyes:
 
at least your bulkhead and chassis won't rust....


No kidding :D I found oil INSIDE the footwell when i lifted the mats up!

Just been and checked, the 19J bracket fits perfectly to the 200TDi (They are basicly the same block after all!) just need to work out how to fit the alternator :)
