2009 Defender ignition RHD

How easy is it to move the ignition from one side of the column to the other? it's a bit of pain when inserting the key, it's close to the light switch and doesn't feel natural to be on the inside, I would perfer it to be from the right side, I see there is a position in the cover

If you move it to the right you'll keep snapping the keys with your knee when you get in and out.

It's just one of the quirks of using a 1970s design. You get used to the left-handed key eventually

I prefer left handed key. Stupid but makes me feel 'safer'

I'm left-handed so for me it works great- zap the keyfob button to unlock the car, climb in, start it, all with keys in left hand. It's all the other cars that have it the wrong way round
