2008 freelander 2 window problem

Hi , I'm new here we have had our 2008 freelander 2 for a few months now and have now got a problem with the window it seems to be stuck down . The button sounds like it is triggering something but it just wont raise could it be the window ecu ? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you , have posted in the main section and.had a couple of responses , orederd a second hand regulator last night so am gonna give it a go the weekend , fingers crossed all goes well .
