I absolutely agree with you, it’s a thing I have about stopping safely, if I put new brakes on, I have my own piece of mind, and she stops on a dime ...
Every vehicle I have ever owned I have been very particular about braking system. I got caught out on the hidden brake pipes with the L322 but got them replaced as soon as hole was discovered.
Almost since the day I got my first car , I have had a recurring dream , that my brakes fail. So I am a tad paranoid. :(

the l322 has a Diagonal split braking system.

Theoretically if one pipe fails The diagonal split concept comes from the fact that the left rear and right front brakes are on one hydraulic line while the right front and left rear brakes are on another. The diagonal split system, because it maintains braking ability for both a front and rear tire, is easier to control in an emergency brake failure situation.

So as long as you don't lose all pipes at the same time you should be able to stop, heaven forbid it never happens mind you. :)

I'm assuming the l322 has a Diagonal split system.

I'm led to believe, from when I had the hole in the pipe, that the answer is yes. Doesnt stop me being paranoid, due to recurring dream ;)

I know what you mean, I recently had an L322 4.4 v8 KAHN delivered to me ask a hire car in Tenerife, only trouble was, I nearly wrote it off because I could hardly stop the thing, brakes were terrible.

TBF my P38 has pipes that run over the petrol tank, they're a common fail so due to anxiety i'll be refreshing the entire system! :D

Considering how crucial the brakes are there is no point taking chances ;)

I'd told them to come get it and bring me something else.
