HI guys,

I am looking to facelift my 2004 RR SE to the 2006 front end.

I know there are quite a few necessary parts but I will be doing the work myself !
Does anyone have a complete parts list for the job ?

Also my current RR has halogen headlights, will this cause issues when upgrading to the 2006 xenons ?

TIA Andy.

I imagine that changing from Halogen to HID's will cause you all sorts of grief and may need diagnostics to reconfigure the LCM. Saint V8 is the man who would know.

You will also have to Trim a lip off of the Front wings to allow installation of the later/facelift headlights, a Dremel works well for this job.

The LCM will need reconfiguring or you will probably get headlamp fault warnings. If you are changing the rear lights to 2006 LED's you will also need to reconfigure the LCM or they will flash every few seconds as it tries to do a lamp test. Mine had a facelift by a previous owner and when the LCM went faulty I replaced it with a pre-facelift one and got the above issues. I managed to find a 2006 facelift LCM on fleabay which sorted it. Don't forget the LCM holds a copy of your VIN and mileage so will need reconfiguring either way.

This was the thread for some of the issues I had. https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/2005-td6-lcm-coding.340648/
Some good info from other members as usual. My local indi used their testbook but that just put the original code back so the LCM went back to normal bulbs.
Main stealer may be able to change individual settings but me being a newbie to FFRR's I couldn't say. I'm sure other more knowledgeable folk on here will know better.
