Hoping someone might be able to shed some light on my fault. I have a 2005 td4 auto and it has a problem with its gear changes.
When you gently accelerate and the car is between 40-50mph I have a fault when it changes between 4th and 5th. Sometimes it fluctuates between 4 and 5 until you are over 50mph or it will go from 4 to 5 and shudder until over 50.
It is currently in 2wd but fault still there in 4wd. I have changed the gearbox oil twice, tested the solenoids and found the lock up duty solenoid to be at 15.2 ohms, replaced and fault still there.
When I tested the solenoids the car was almost fully hot, most of them were approx .5 ohms over that stated on the test diagram.
Anyone have any ideas?
