I have bought a new fog light for the disco from evilbay to replace the current one which has water ingress, I haven't tried yet as it might mean cleaning the garage out first as I don't want to be rolling about on the ice but I have noticed a small hole on the front of the foglight housing, I can't see init but is this a release screw for the whole light(making this an easy fix) or is it a case of roling around on the floor with me arm up a hole fiddling to release the old one in order to fit new one.
I have checked the Haynes but as usual its a bit nonsensicle
any advice?

cheers for that but that is taken straight from the haynes or at least the pictures are, the later disco has round fog lights not the rectangular ones as the earlier TD5 had, but round the actual glass of the fog light is a circle of plastic colour coded to the bumper but it looks seperate, this has a small hole in it and this is what I was woundering if it was a type of release screw for the whole light?

Take the main head light out, and front grill off. Just two screws on the top of the headlight, two on top of the grill & walla, bobs your uncle. You will see how much easier this is, other than rolling around on your ass, twisting your arms & cursing.

Hi I did this yesterday but it didn't give any access as the windscreen washer reservoir is in the way??? or have a done something wrong

I then tried undoing the 5 screws for the bumper end section and it didn't want to budge an inch?????

it then got cold so I went indoors....lol

If you look at the link in my previous post, it tells you exactly how to do it.

.

PaulMc - Thanks to your attachment, I managed to successfully change my N/S/F foglight today (only taken 2 years). Previously hadn't been able to do it due to lack of info. I did also have to remove the headlight too as the bumper cover retaining clips at the top weren't having any of it.
