2003 td4 freelander.

hi guys im a newbie to all this stuff and and ive just purchased a 2003 freelander tdi .
ive got a problem with my sunroof, when opening it starts to move and then start a loud clicking and will not go anyfurther.
when closing the same happens loud clicking, a 2 man job then starts, one on top of the roof pushing the sunroof shut while someone inside operates the button. it seems to have a problem on the left hand side. can anyone suggest what should i do. thanks david
