Hi, I have a td6 2002 model with 2 faults..??. First is when I start it the air suspension works fine for a few minutes then stops..if I turn off and on again it works again..??.. Second- my hi/low ratio switch does nothing, any quick checks ?. I’ve changed the switch but no different.. any ideas would be great.. thanks

Get your codes read for the suspension as could be a number of things and if you have changed the hi/lo switch it could be the common motor fault . Did you change the complete switch panel or just the switch ?
If you intend to keep the RR then good diagnostics like the Allcomms will pay for itself very quickly .
You can test the motor by putting the transfer box into neutral using the fuse procedure , can’t remember which one but it’s in the manual but if the motor is sticking or faulty it could get stuck in neutral, low ratio or somewhere in between at which point the motor would need to be removed and potentially replaced.

Thanks for that, I will loo bro that Allcomms... The RR drives fine so assume the transfer box is in the correct range. I replaced the whole switch panel as neither the decent or hi/low worked, the decent now works..

Have read though this, you need a copy of Rave if you dont already have it.
Remember you may get stuck if you try the neutral procedure and it doesn't complete. there is also a calibrate process as well but cant remember off the top of my head

You need diag but I'd check the compressor is giving good air first. I suspect it is somewhat out of the way compared to the P38. Hidden in the rear wheel-well?

I have bought the icarsoft 930 it will do most fault codes and clear them, already sorted rear parking sensor fault and no comms with transfer box ecu (no cover been wet) it will do as stop gap till can afford the gap iid tool payed about £110 for it which I didnt think out the way.
