Hi all. I'm off to look at a new stead tomorrow. A May 31st 2002 registered P38 Vogue. I've done plenty of reading etc etc had a good snoop around here. Can anybody give a definitive spec for the Vogue. Also I thought being that late a registration and the new L322 being released that year it should be a Vogue SE. I've HPi'd the car and it's come back as just a Vogue. Can anybody tell me the differences between the Vogue and Vogue SE?

Easy way to tell if it's an SE, look on the dash, if it has a speaker in the middle by the screen, it's an SE. also the wood trim should be a different colour. Apart from that, not much difference apart from cost of insurance.

Cheers guys. It's a Vogue without the SE bit. Now sat on my drive. Dark gun metal grey, beige leather with claret red piping and carpets. Everything seems to work even the heated seats. However and this is no joke the car has done little short runs for the last 3 years (school and back). I then drove it home around 130 miles. Nice and very quiet to start with but I fear one of the rear wheel bearings has given up the ghost. Nasty drone for the last 30 miles or so. Not related to engine load or revs but directly to speed. Can't really blame the PO it was nice and quiet on the test ride and we went for miles to. So do I be a skinflint and try and press just new bearings in. Or shall I just stop mucking about and do the hubs? I guess it will be best to do both sides, If one side's gone I bet the other won't be far behind it. Bum.

Aye. I have 12 ton floor press in my garage but from what I've read it won't be man enough. Guess I'll just have to see sense and buy hubs.

The difference between Vogue and Vogue SE is a badge worth £2,000. If you do school runs or play golf you might want the expensive badge. Otherwise don't get too hung up on it.
