We no longer have 2 horses and a horsebox to tow (two or three times a year to shows) so no longer need a big car!

First, the only fault: Intermittent "Window not set. Fuse 12 blown". Of course fuse 12 isn't blown. I know what it is, it's a dodgy relay. Just haven't sorted it yet. It was on my to do list. I even have the relay.

That's it.

Now the good points. Everything else works perfectly. Air suspension, seats, cruise control, traction control, air con the lot.

In the last 12 months, I have done (as I had planned on keeping it):
1. 4 new Dunlop air bags
2. Fully serviced air compressor (new seals, liner etc)
3. New radiator after the old one cracked. Whilst radiator was off, I did the rest of the cooling system:
4. New thermostat (now warms up lovely)
5. New waterpump (old one turned out to be fine)
6. New viscous fan
7. New air con compressor belt which I noticed was frayed.
8. New trackrod ends and FNS hub (failed last MOT on noisy bearing and excessive play)
9. New oil cooler and oil cooler pipes which were weeping.
10. New brake pads AND discs all round. New calliper slide pins.

It has 104000 miles on it.

There are no known faults. It starts and runs fine and if it were MOT'd tomorrow it would fly through. As it is, it has 10 months MOT left.

It has had it's oil and filter changed every 6 months. It is currently running fully synthetic oil and doesn't leave a single drip of oil (from anywhere) on your drive.

Intercooler and all hoses have been cleaned, EGR is in place, but cleaned and bypassed. No other mods. No tuning boxes etc.

No work needs doing.

Cosmetically, it is in excellent condition inside. It is in very good condition outside with one noticeable dent in a rear door (c£50-£75 on ebay for the full door). It is in Oslo Blue with the standard cream interior.

It comes with some spares (like waterpump, viscous fan) and a set of roof bars (Thule type ones) not fitted.

It has 2 brand new General Grabber AT's on the rear with full tread. The front tyres aren't AT's but have plenty of tread left (which is why I haven't changed them).

It has a full set of tailored window blinds that give the same effect as tinting, but are removable and come in a protective carry bag that can be left in the boot.

£3700 ono

Wigan. About 4 miles from J23 or J24 of the M6

Hi Nik, is your P38 still available?

Yes. Not advertised it yet. I was going to photograph it and put it on Autotrader this weekend, but the weather was so bad, I didn't. It'll be next weekend now before I get around to taking any pictures and putting an advert together, so yes... :)

Hi Nik, I'm looking for a Disco2 at the moment but your P38 caught my eye. I had a 4.0 a few years ago and loved it but had to sell it due to the high cost at the petrol pump. If I wasn't 200 miles and 4 hours away I would pop over to take a look. As it is I would need to be 99% sure I wanted it before making the journey. Do you think it might be possible to post some more detailed pics before the weekend?

What a shame, I'd wished I had seen this before the one I bought. Bargain and low mileage. I took mine for a top up on the air-con and found it had been played with.
Ah well I might win that Euromillions tonight. That is a nice looking motor, worth travelling miles to see it.
