Hi everyone just joined to learn anything to help get my Landy the way I want it. Have owned it for a year now and love it but it's costing me. I also own a 2007 Freelander 2 HSE which I love especially for the longer journeys but want to improve the Defender for longer journeys too, so here I am. I also own a couple of Triumph bikes but that's another story.

Thanks for the welcome Brian and hello to you too, all I have to do is learn to navigate around this forum now. Cheers.

Its going to cost a lot to make a tratter as good as a Freelander 2 on long trips. Stick with the FL2 ;)

And make sure yer tratter has upgraded security as they is easily nicked.

Hi Hippo thanks a bunch for the welcome.
I totally agree the Freelander 2 is brilliant on the longer trips and better fuel returns :) as well that's why I'm keeping it but the 'tratter' is great fun for when I camp or go hammocking.
I do have extra security on the tratter but will still be adding more asap depending on funds. Cheers !
