2001 Headlight the same as pre 2000?

Got a big stone chip in my p38 n/s headlight, after the last few weeks condinsation is staring the build up. So I think it's time to sort it out as I'm just about on top of the other problems.
Can just the glass be replaced?
If not,are the pre 2000 headlights the same as my 2001?

Yes and no. The post-2000 lights have blackened areas on the reflector whereas pre-2000 lights are all silvered.

However they are interchangeable, so fitting a pre-2000 headlight is possible, but will leave you with odd looking left and right headlights.

No, the glass cannot be replaced separately, they are a sealed unit (to prevent water ingress...)
