200 vs 300 vs td5 headlining & carpet

Hi folks,

Just a quick question or two

Would a 200tdi headlining fit a 300tdi disco?

And, would a td5 carpet fit into the same 300tdi disco?

As you may have guessed, I have a 300tdi disco...1995 ES auto.

Any help appreciated,

The 200 headlining will fit no probs , Not sure about the TD5 carpet though.

Youd be better of re doing your 300 headlining its sooo easy and the results amazing! not sure about the TD5 carpet wernt they longer?

Agreed on redoing your old headlining.

Done mine myself with black faux suede and came out a lot better than first thought.

Err yea patience is vital. can get a bit frustrating when a bit doesn't stick down quite how you'd like.

I'd probably say it took a couple of hours. Not including removing and replacing the headlining.

Pull all old stuff off. Clean off the horrible orangery spongy stuff off. Then fit your desired material.
Make sure you use high temp spray glue makes the job much easier. Think I used 2 cans in total.
Start from the front as it's the hardest bit and work your way back doing a small bit at a time.
