Hi everyone I'm brand new to this forum and I'm sure there's someone out there who can help me out.
I have a landrover 110 csw 200tdi on a L reg with 160k on the clock. Recently it has started to squeak / chirp when pulling away on idle and when under load. It gets faster in sound the faster I am going and it stops when clutch pressed, free wheeling and stationary. Doesn't do it when parked up with engine running.
I have removed the power steering belt and fan belt and driven it around the block without any belts so I can eliminate the belt / tensioner / alternator and water pump but the noise is still there. The crank pulley looks untrue and wobbly but it isn't loose as all tightened up. So with all of the above emilinated what could it be? I'm based in leeds.
