Morning all,

Finally got the the stage of fitting the rebuilt Discovery 200 tdi to my 109 Series 3, however it doesn't seem to want to sit properly and hoping for some guidance.

2.25d mount brackets removed and fitted to disco block, new genuine mounts (NRC2052), 3mm washers either side of rubber mount.

Engine bolted to gearbox, passenger mount fitted but not tightened.

Driver mount sits about 10mm too high and too far to the left (looking from the front), but I cannot figure out why. The engine seems solid where it is and won't move enough to take up the gap.

I'm wondering if either a mount is bent, or if the 3mm washers are messing it up. However I don't think the geometry of where the washers are would move it that far/that angle.

Any suggestions welcome!

Okay so I think I've sorted this - clearly not looking properly at 11pm last night when I was trying to fit it.

If you look at the sixth photo, you can just about see the stud from the mount sticking down, this was resting on the chassis leg rather than slotting into it's hole, so the weight was resting on the stud.

Just loosened off the mount that side and jiggled everything around enough for it to pop in, so fingers crossed.
