Progress report as a way of a thank you for all the info I have
received from the group
1 Perkins 4203 and a lt 95 box removed
200 tdi from a disco and lt77 box in place and all lined up
Some of the wiring in place
Started it up today at last !
Problems so far
Had to cut the seat box to get the gear box in place not a major piece
of work just a little relief to let the high low selector cover sits in
place
Connected the box up to the rear shaft and found the front shaft is
now to short by about 3 inches !
Making and placing engine mounts , hole in the mount is in line with
the damper bolts
Rad bottom out let is catching on the steering relay have to work
this one out yet !
Continuous winning noise ,sorted , sent her shopping
Annoying things
Fitted a new oil pressure switch , and broke the top of with the last
turn of the spanner
Forgot it had an oil cooler and dumped lots of oil on my garage floor
Trying to find a 12 v feed for the pump solenoid that didn't drop
when the engine was cranked
Thanks for all the info posted for the problems I have had so far , im
sure the will be more !
