I’ve seen on here that you can fit the lift pump wrong side of the cam? I have just unbolted the old one and put the new one in and tighten it up is that correct?

That's is what I do, personally I think you would need to try quite hard to get it wrong.
When it is then operate the hand pump to see if it works, you might need to turn the engine to do this as it only works with the cam in certain positions. When testing it I take the inlet pipe to the filter off (at the filter)to make sure it delivers a good squit of fuel.

Yes I thought so I’m getting hardy any fuel coming out when I hand pump it as it’s probably on the wrong place on the cam, but when the engines running I’ve got plenty of fuel coming out

The pump lever should be inserted so it’s above camshaft and the cam then pushes lever up and down when running
If the high point on cam is pointing up when you prime it won’t work so need to turn crank a bit so lever on lower part of cam

So I’m I 😂😂yes and straight to the injector pump I’ve tried so many different things I’ve forgotten what I’ve done had help from a great mate so I think we’ve only got the pick up pipe in the tank to check but that’s only 2 months old had problems with that as the float is sitting on the baffling and not sowing when empty but that’s a different story.

Bend the float arm, they get fecked in transit ...

Is their a sedimentor in the fuel line under the vehicle?

All the Britpart lift pumps we have fitted leak through the thread for the inlet and outlet pipes, I wrap the threads in ptfe tape (rightly or wrongly)

Hi everyone first of all i want to thank everyone who has been helping me out with my problem I have finally found the problem 🙄I replaced all of the pipe work still had air coming in from some where. I put a small rap of ptfe tape on the inlet of the lift pump compression joint. So far so good 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 thanks again to everyone who helped
Might have been mentioned before!
Still odd that it would make it stall though, hope it's fixed.

Still got a problem 🤬 still got a vacuum on the bleed screw I’ve cut 5mm off the bottom of the pick up pipe seems to have worked so far. It’s now pumping fuel out of the bleed screw off for a test drive via the pub so if it does pack up at least I can drown my sorrows 😂😂🤞🤞🤞🤞
