200 tdi big end and main bolts?

Bloody 12 pointed nuts, anyone know what size socket for the big end and
main.
All my sockets are 6 pointed :(


 
9/16 or 14 mm

Mary series 2a (blown Diff)
Matilda series 3 station wagon (waiting to be painted)
Un-named Discovery 1 (engine in bits all over the place)

9/16" will be loose if they're 14mm. not close enough a fit for tight
bolts, really. Much more likely to be metric, anyway.

I just been putting mine back together and can confirm its

14mm Main bearings

and also

15mm Big ends

I thought they were the same size(Just goes to show how long its been in
bits !!!)
