Chaps, i've seached this to death, I have a Disco 200tdi in my 90 and currently it was a K&N airfilter sitting behind a headlight. meaning the safari snorkel is just for effect right now. I have sitting in my garage an old style 200 disco airbox complete with the right angle bit and hoses for days. i just cant make the b*stard fit! anyone got any bright ideas? it would be quite nice to get in some water :)

Have just converted a 90 turbo diesel to 200tdi , and have used the disco airbox,

Will take a pic tomorrow and post it up

I am in much the same situation. Snorkel fitted (not safari) but not connected to large can type filter housing. My problem is I dont know what type of hose to use to get me from inner wing to filter. I can make an inner wing piece and weld something on to housing. But hose has me stumped.

I did mine with exhaust tubing and silicone fittings all held together with jubilee clamps to put it all together. No transfer of vibrations and water tight.

Hi, I am not exactly sure how mine was fitted as I had the conversion done by a garage but iv took some pics for you, they aren't the best but thought it may be of some use......

My pics show where its located and the last 2 it looks like the bracket is tack welded to the arch. I only got ten mins and gotta go but hope they are of some use!

Atb tom.

Nice one, thanks, this is kinda what i was trying to achieve, but the plumbing is a pain in the tits. the combination of the alternator and the screenwash bottle is a git. i'll have another crack at the weekend. thanks :)

When I did my conversion, I just moved the airbox mounting further away from the engine, towards the headlight so that it cleared the alternator. Some pics on my conversion thread here. http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f7/200-tdi-conversion-pics-230884.html

Here's a pic where I fitted the disco air box , then I have another flexi hose going from air box to snorkel ( not fitted in pic)

Hope this helps
