thanks for all the replies to my posting. i got the SEVEN SEATER landy mainly for a couple of reasons , firstly, 4 kids one missus and giant greyhound to cart around and the fact i HATE people carriers. the second reason is im a massive N.H racing fan and it comes in handy when making a quick exit from the mud bath fields that some of the tracks call car parks! . i'll stick with the 18" wheels that it came with. cheers

EIGHTEEN INCH ORIGINALS???????
I've been robbed of two inches off each wheel on my Disco2 td5 then, because all my wheels are only sixteen inchers.

most TD5 ES spec & i think some GS spec came with 18" alloys as standard
Mine had 18" as standard - but i think it gives you a harsher ride than 16"
Yes mines the ES so it has the 18s but I thought that all td5s had them, just shows. I agree that they seem a harsh ride but not sure wheteher its the 18s or the good year wranglers fitted, as I have heard other owners say these tyres give a harsh ride. I certainly think that mine do.Will change to something different when needed. Anyone fitted bfg all terrains and what do you thinlk, is the ride ok and is there any more tyre noise?
